John Walzer

Professional Experience

John Walzer served for twenty-five years in federal government and for eleven years in the private sector, lending him an authority on investigations and security matters.

Mr. Walzer's career with the FBI started in 1966 when he served as a Special Agent.  Mr. Walzer served in several FBI offices including the Miami, Pittsburgh and New York offices, dealing with matters including national security, white-collar crime and organized crime. In 1981, Mr. Walzer became a Supervisory Special Agent in the New York Regional Presidential Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. He remained in this capacity until 1990 and supervised international drug investigations which included coordinating with other International, Federal, and Municipal drug enforcement professionals, including Italian National Police, Guardia DiFinanza, Scotland Yard, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  Additionally in this capacity, Mr. Walzer represented the FBI as a public speaker before numerous professional groups.

After his departure from government service in 1990, Mr. Walzer entered the private sector, first as the Assistant Director of Corporate Security for Pfizer, the international pharmaceuticals company, and later as the North East Regional Director of security and investigations for a major international security consulting firm.

Mr. Walzer is involved with various community service projects including religious, educational and anti-substance abuse programs. In addition, Mr. Walzer is an elected Fire Commissioner for a local municipality in Westchester County, New York.
