Fortress Global Investigations was hired to investigate a Mexican fugitive who had fled to the United States. The goal was to learn his whereabouts, apprehend him, and assist in any extradition proceedings. The subject fled Central America after a loan for millions of dollars to a corporate client went sour. The fugitive’s collateral did not belong to him, resulting in our client not being paid. Our intelligence and surveillance teams studied the information provided by our client, such as credit card statements and other financial information and tracked down the fugitive in the United States. This information was ultimately conveyed to both the Attorney General and the United States Marshals.
